NATIONAL BEEF . . . . . . An idea conceived by a group of passionate cattle breeders with a desire and vision to showcase beef cattle at a single venue. A showcase all about the beef industry, where beef producers and public alike can see and experience many aspects of this interesting, sometimes complex but vital industry.

Conducted over five days there is plenty for everyone. The Carcass Competition starts the program with Judging of Stud cattle taking place on Friday & Saturday culminating on Sunday with the pinnacle for all Stud breeders, the Interbreed competition, where the champion animal of all the breeds is awarded, truly a fantastic spectacle. During the course of the Show there are over 30 different Breeds of cattle competing, an all breeds Stud sale, Trade sites for all your farming needs and those with products derived from the farming sector.

Held at the new and exciting Exhibition Centre which has easy access, plenty of space, a friendly atmosphere which creates a great opportunity to explore and obtain information along with quality products, all of this within the City of Bendigo which in itself has numerous attractions.

As National Beef grows and cements its place in the calendar of events, new and exciting additions to the program are being introduced.

Invaluable support from exhibitors, sponsors, tireless volunteers and committee members ensures National Beef will continue to provide an informative, enjoyable yet professional event for all those interested in the Beef Cattle Industry.

NATIONAL BEEF 2009 ... will be back at the Exhibition Centre from Wednesday 20th to Sunday 24th May 2009.
